JCB- Nizlopi

Ésta fue la canción que dejé por aquí el pasado 18 de Septiembre de 2008. Y aunque no me suele gustar repetir, y podría poner cualquier otra gran canción de las que inundan este Half these songs are about you..., mi canción de hoy, vuele a ser la genial JCB. Primero porque llevo todo el día cantando eso de I'm Luke, I'm five, and my dad's Bruce Lee. Drives me round in his JCB. Y segundo, porque simplemente me encanta la canción y el vídeo, muy grande, vaya currada se pegaron al hacerlo! 8). Me ha encantado descubrir que el pasado año, tras cuatro años de separación, volvió a reencontrarse este dúo inglés, para girar, grabar un álbum en directo, y anunciar nuevo trabajo en un futuro inminente. Gran noticia!! A ver si hay suerte y puedo verles en directo, que tengo algo pendiente con ellos. En 2005, tocaba en el Kursaal Jamie Cullum. Me quedé sin entradas, y al leer al día siguiente que Nizlopi lo había teloneado durante 1 hora, pues eso... rabia 8( . A ver si pronto... Para Hugo, Álex y Telmo, que les mola ;)

Nizlopi es un grupo londinense que hace una gran música, mezcla de Folk y Hip-Hop. Está compuesto por 2 músicos: Luke Concannon (voz, guitarra, y pandero) y John Parker (contrabajo, percusión vocal y segundas voces). Nizlopi publicó su primer álbum en 2004, titulado, Half These Songs Are About You. Tuvo una buena crítica y un buen número de ventas. En 2006 lanzó un EP llamando Extraordinary, que como su nombre indica... En marzo de 2008 publicó su segundo álbum titulado, Make it happen. Tras el lanzamiento de su segundo álbum, decidieron tomarse un respiro por un tiempo. Tras cuatro años, en 2013, volvieron a unirse para girar por el Reino Unido e Irlanda, grabando un álbum en directo en 2014 Nizlopi Live, y con visos de grabar un nuevo trabajo en un futuro inminente.
